Blythe Energy Center Transmission Line

The objective of the line, which contains 435 poles and crosses 46 landowners, is to move electricity from this plant to the Julian Hinds substation located approximately 67 miles to the west along a route that roughly parallels US Interstate 10.

Blythe Energy Center is a 507 MW combined cycle natural gas-fired power plant located just west of the Arizona border in Riverside County, California. The objective of the line, which contains 435 poles and crosses 46 landowners, is to move electricity from this plant to the Julian Hinds substation located approximately 67 miles to the west along a route that roughly parallels US Interstate 10.
