The Land Analyst II position will provide support to Hilliard Energy, Ltd., it affiliates and clients.


• 5 or more years of oil and gas, land, legal and other relevant experience required
• strong interpersonal and communication skills- both written and verbal
• proven ability to work well with others
• self-starter with ability to work with minimum supervision
• detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• ability to work on multiple projects
• ability to work under time constraints to meet deadlines
• handle and respect confidential company and client data and information
• proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
• willingness to learn and master other computer applications


• assist in researching, analyzing, interpreting and preparation of various documents and agreements, including oil and gas leases, amendments, pooling agreements, and title curative documents
• maintain status reports and worksheets for multiple projects
• prepare check request and track payment status
• provide quality control review of landman work products
• provide other support to company and landmen as required
